In Saskatchewan, the value of your trade is deducted from the price of your new vehicle before sales tax is calculated, so trading in saves you tax. Under this promotion, that tax savings is counted as part of your $5,000 minimum, so your trade allowance plus the tax you save on it adds up to at least $5,000 toward your new Nissan.

What is the $5,000 Trade-In Guarantee at Moose Jaw Nissan?

From October 1 to 31, 2026, Moose Jaw Nissan guarantees a minimum trade-in value of $5,000 for any make or model that is currently registered in Saskatchewan and can be driven in, when you buy a new Nissan.

Does my trade-in have to be a Nissan?

No. Any make and any model qualifies, as long as it's currently registered in Saskatchewan and in driveable condition.

Does the $5,000 include the Saskatchewan trade-in tax savings?

Yes. The $5,000 minimum trade value is inclusive of the Saskatchewan trade-in tax credit. Your trade-in value is deducted before tax is calculated on your new vehicle, and that tax savings is counted as part of the $5,000.

Can I use the $5,000 on a used vehicle?

No. The guarantee applies only to the purchase of a new Nissan from Moose Jaw Nissan. It has no cash value and can't be applied to used vehicles, service or parts.

What if my vehicle is worth more than $5,000?

You still get a full appraisal. If your vehicle appraises for more than $5,000, you receive the higher appraised value. The $5,000 is a floor, not a cap.

What does "driveable condition" mean?

Your vehicle must start, run and arrive at the dealership under its own power. Vehicles that are towed or trailered in don't qualify.

What should I bring?

Your vehicle, its current Saskatchewan registration, your driver's licence, all keys and fobs, and any loan payout information if the vehicle isn't fully paid off.

What if I still owe money on my trade?

That's fine. We'll get the payout from your lender and factor it into your deal. Bring your lender's name and account details.
